This tool kit is seriously well made. I can wack the tools against trees and put all my weight into while digging. Having a tool this packable that can be screwed together in seconds to make a full length shovel or axe is extremely useful to have while camping.

Bought this for my son, as he goes off to college in Iowa he has taken a real interest in the outdoorsman thing (fishing, camping & hiking). Purchased several items to support this interest, but this multi purpose shovel tool kit was buy far my favorite, almost didn't want to give to him. Once together, it was heavy yet manageable, very sturdy with quality construction. Will most likely get one for myself!

Very sturdy material used to make these. I love that it all fits so compactly in this little case making it easy to just grab out of the garage and take it with us. The little spots hold the pieces in place really well so nothing falls out of place once closed.

I went to Arizona to go camping and broke this out. I used it to clear the tent area of debris. Then I used it to stoke fires ashes. As my fire started to get low, I heard a rustle in the bushes. I turned on my flashlight and saw 2 pairs of eyes looking at me. I picked up the shovel and started banging it on the ground to scare away those eyeballs. It tactically worked :-)

Description said light weight. It is heavier than I expected. It much more substantially made than expected. This shovel can take some serious abuse. I believe one tool is a fire starter stick but I couldn’t elicit a spark from it. No diagram nor instructions were included. It certainly isn’t hard to figure out assembly. I have the shovel in my car for use on the road
